HERRIMAN, Utah (AP) — Police say an 18-year-old Riverton woman is dead after the vehicle she was riding in apparently ran a red light and was struck by an SUV.
Unified police officials said Cambrie Cozzens was killed in the crash that happened Sunday afternoon in Herriman. A 17-year-old boy was taken to the hospital in fair condition.
Lt. Justin Hoyal tells the Deseret News (http://bit.ly/1svZQvV) that a Saturn the two teens were riding in apparently ran the light at an intersection and was hit in the side by a Ford Bronco.
The Saturn then hit a Dodge Charger that was stopped at the light.
Police say the people in the Bronco and the Charger were not injured.
