PROVO, Utah (AP) — Utah County authorities have identified a 39-year-old North Salt Lake woman who appears to have fallen to her death at Bridal Veil Falls.
Deputies say Camille Stepan suffered serious injuries consistent with a fall from great height. She was found Tuesday afternoon.
The Daily Herald reported a hiker in the area noticed what he thought was a coat and went to retrieve it when he realized it was a woman's body.
Deputies are asking for tips from anyone who may have seen Stepan in the area before her death. She had been wearing white leggings and a white jacket.
Bridal Veil Falls is located in the Provo Canyon and is a popular destination for hiking and ice climbing in the winter.
