PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — An investigation that began when a student snapped a picture of a girl sitting on her teacher's lap at Liberty High School in Hillsboro resulted in a six-year prison sentence for Gregg Martin Jensen.
The 54-year-old teacher pleaded guilty in May to sex abuse charges involving the 16-year-old student. He was sentenced Tuesday in Washington County Circuit Court.
The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/fq4Xia ) Jensen resigned in June as the school district was taking steps to fire him.
