The 41-year-old truck driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Friends tell KSL-TV the two were family men who loved the outdoors and worked with youth in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Byrge is survived by his wife and four children, while Coons is survived by a wife and three children.
