Ralcorp board member to retire

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Ralcorp Holdings Inc. on Monday said Joe Micheletto, vice-chairman of its board of directors, will retire Jan. 20.
Ralcorp, which produces Post cereal and variety of other foods that are sold under stores' own brands, said Micheletto was "pivotal" in the company's history.
Micheletto joined Ralston Purina Co. in 1963 and held a number of positions. He stayed with the company in 1994, when it was spun-off from Ralston Purina. He became CEO of Ralcorp in 1996, a position he held until 2003.
He has been a director of Ralcorp since 1994.
Shares of Ralcorp rose 29 cents to close at $58.62 Monday.
