BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Ten Burlington High School students are staffing a food truck at various locations this summer as part of a program to teach them culinary and business skills.

The Fork In The Road farm-to-school initiative is serving Vermont fare from a brightly colored kitchen trailer pulled by a pickup truck — both vehicles paid for by Burlington-based Dealer.com.

Among their appearances: the Precipice Music Festival concluding Saturday evening at Burlington College.

The non-profit food truck program was created by the Burlington School Food Project with funding from private foundations, local businesses, and the Vermont Department of Labor.
