CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept delivery gained 3.5 cents to $5.3225 a bushel; Sept corn was 3.75 cents lower at $3.5775 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanged at $3.26 a bushel; while Nov soybeans were 11 cents lower at $10.7375 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Aug live cattle was 1.35 cents higher at $1.5790 a pound; Aug feeder cattle was .68 cent higher at 2.18 a pound; Aug lean hogs gained .87 cent to $1.2407 a pound.
