DETROIT (AP) - Luxury car makers Bentley and Lamborghini are recalling 1,136 cars between them for brake problems.

The recall covers the Bentley Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur from the 2007 through 2011 model years; the Lamborghini Murcielago and Murcielago Roadster from the 2006 through 2010 model years; and the Lamborghini Gallardo and Gallardo Spyder from the 2007 through 2009 model years.

The stainless steel screws that secure the brake rotors may fall out in salty conditions. Loss of the screws can reduce braking ability.

No accidents have been reported. The companies said no more than three of the 10 screws have fallen out at once, and tests show eight would need to fall out before the brakes stop working.

Owners will be contacted and dealers will replace the screws for free.
