Charging documents show a Kearns woman accused of dumping her newborn in a neighbor's trash says she was afraid to tell her parents about the pregnancy. A probable cause statement released last night shows 23-year-old Alicia Englert told police she hoped the baby girl would die and solve her problems. Englert was arrested last night on suspicion of attempted murder. The baby girl was in critical condition.
