CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. delivery was 4 cents a bale lower $4.1060 a bushel; Sept. corn was 3.25 cents lower at $3.3240 bushel; Sept. oats was 1 cents lower at $1.96 a bushel; while August soybeans gained 4.50 cents to $10.15 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle was .73 cents higher at $1.1468 a pound; August feeder cattle was 1.60 cents higher at $1.4388 pound; August lean hogs was off 1.05 cents to $.7063 a pound.
