CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. delivery was 11.50 cents a bale lower at $4.1740 a bushel; Sept. corn was 3.50 cents lower at $3.3120 bushel; Sept. oats was 5.25 cents lower at $1.99 a bushel; while August soybeans gained 13.25 cents to $9.97 a bushel.
Beef mixed and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle was .25 cents higher at $1.1325 a pound; August feeder cattle was .28 cent higher at $1.4198 pound; August lean hogs was off .78 cent to $.7490 a pound.
