EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Two student apartment complexes near the University of Oregon have been sold to a Colorado investment group for $30.6 million.
The Register-Guard reports (http://is.gd/PvRpxG ) that the complexes, which were co-developed by former UO Athletic Director Pat Kilkenny, were purchased by University Communities, of Denver.
Kilkenny helped develop the Skybox and Courtside apartments with Steve Romania and Tom Cody in 2010 and 2011, respectively. Combined, the complexes house about 400 students in 123 units.
Officials with University Communities did not respond to requests for comment. The firm owns 18 properties in 11 states, with some properties in Eugene.
