CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery fell 8.50 cents to $4.79 a bushel; March corn lost 5.50 cents to 3.6725 a bushel; March oats were off 4 cents to 2.3275 a bushel; while January soybeans declined 2.25 cents to $8.73 bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. February live cattle was up .73 cent to $1.3385 a pound; January feeder cattle was gained 1.05 cents to $1.6602 a pound; while February lean hogs fell .40 cent at $.5767 a pound.
