SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Salt Lake City police say federal officials will take over the investigation of a death at an industrial yard.

Detective Greg Wilking says 50-year-old Fred Hannert was found dead on Monday morning at Adler Tank Rentals. His body was lying between a forklift and a large container.

Police say the fatality appears to be an industrial accident and Occupational Safety and Health Administration officials will take over the investigation.

Adler Tank Rentals' website says the company provides tanks and steel boxes for the storage of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
