Grain mostly higher, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery was .25 cent higher at $4.8860 a bushel; March corn was 1 cent higher at $3.7040 a bushel; March oats were .50 cent higher at $2.3540 a bushel; while January soybeans gained 3 cents to 8.6660 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle was .43 cent higher at $1.3293 a pound; January feeder cattle was .35 cent higher at $1.6503 a pound; February lean hogs gained .53 cent to $.5803 a pound.
