CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed in early trading Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was lower 6.25 cents to $5.20 a bushel; December corn was 2.25 cents lower at $3.96 a bushel; December oats were 5 cents higher at 2.24 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 1.50 cents to 8.8960 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was 3.38 cents higher at $1.3660 a pound; November feeder cattle was 3.73 cents higher at $1.81755 a pound; December lean hogs gained .45 cent to $.6718 a pound.
