CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery lost 1.50 cents to $4.88 a bushel; December corn was 2.50 cents higher at $3.7760 a bushel; December oats were 1.50 cents higher at 2.2360 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 4.50 cents to 8.8340 a bushel.
Beef higher and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .23 cent higher at $1.4325 a pound; October feeder cattle was 1.85 cents higher at $1.9893 a pound; October lean hogs lost .40 cent to $.6665 a pound.
