TALLAHASSEE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr 24, 2014--Florida 4-H youth from across the state came together for the annual 4-H Day at the Capitol to share the importance of eating healthy and exercising as part of the UnitedHealthcare and Florida 4-H “Eat4-Health” partnership. During the lunchtime assembly, 4-H youth leaders joined UnitedHealthcare mascot Dr. Health E. Hound motivating participants to be healthy-lifestyle ambassadors.

UnitedHealthcare mascot Dr. Health E. Hound along with hundreds of 4-H youth participated in fun, healthy exercises at the annual 4-H Day at the Capitol. Throughout the day 4-H Youth Health Ambassadors, trained through the UnitedHealthcare and 4-H "Eat4-Health" partnership, led workshops on healthy living and demonstrations on how to make healthy snacks and participate in fun healthy activities. More than 400 4-H youth and adults, participated in 4-H Day at the Capitol, making their own healthy trail mix, participating in activities like the Hula Hoop challenge, "Go, Slow Whoa!" parachute games, while learning the importance of serving sizes and maintaining active lifestyles.
