As the Syrian refugee crisis stirs political controversy here in the United States, many volunteers from around the world, and Utah, are working to help the thousands of Syrians as they arrive in neighboring countries.
With holiday travel part of the plan for so many people, UDOT will use as many as 300 plows Wednesday night across northern Utah and will keep at it as long as the snow keeps coming down into the morning hours.

A man stole a misplaced Southwest Airlines boarding pass, made it through airport security and got as far as the flight check-in gate, where the boarding pass was approved, before airport officials were alerted and confronted him.
