SALT LAKE CITY -- When skiers and snowboarders hit the slopes this year, their equipment will be watched with the help of federal stimulus money.
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, police at Brian Head Resort will use stimulus funds to buy a device to keep track of snow equipment thieves. They also plan to use surveillance equipment to catch thieves in the act.
Other resorts also plan to crack down on thefts through sting operations.
