Adventure Playsets issues recall
November 6th, 2009 @ 11:04pm

SALT LAKE CITY -- Makers of popular backyard play sets are telling families to stop using them.

Several children have fallen from these Adventure Playsets; some broke their arms. Executives say the plastic-coated lumber on the monkey bars can weaken from the rotting wood.

Walmart, Toys-R-Us and other national retails sold the play sets. Owners can call the company for a replacement kit.

For more information, contact Adventure Playsets, toll-free, at 1-877-8409068 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday.

You can also visit the firm's website at www.adventureplaysets.com or the CPSC's website at www.cpsc.gov
