(KSL News) Three people were rushed to the hospital after a nasty accident on southbound I-15 in Box Elder County this afternoon.

Around 12:15 p.m., a red pickup driven by a 31-year-old man from ran into the back of a white Chevrolet Prism driven by a 22-year-old man from Layton. It happened near milepost 353.

The Utah Highway Patrol said both drivers pulled off to the side of the road and got out of their vehicles to talk about the crash. That's when a silver car slid into the men, seriously injuring them both.
