(KSL News) A snowmobiler has been rescued after his machine became stuck, forcing him to spend the night on the Skyline Drive in Sanpete County.
The 58-year-old man from Millard County was snowmobiling north of Fairview Canyon. This morning, volunteers with the Sanpete County Search and Rescue started searching, and he was spotted from a airplane around noon.
Crews on the ground reached the man, who they credit with being prepared for the winter conditions. Other than being hungry, the man was in good condition.
Earlier, Cache County crews responded to reports that a father and his two sons were missing in Logan Canyon yesterday. Rescue crews found them in the Fish Haven area.
And in Weber County, a father and daughter were missing for hours yesterday. They were found by rescuers in the Monte Cristo area, then brought down the mountain by helicopter. They did not need any medical attention.
