Man accidentally shoots self

PROVO, Utah (AP) -- A man accidentally shot himself after dropping a gun at an ammunition business in Provo.
Provo police say the 57-year-old was shot in his lower abdomen, and the bullet traveled into his chest cavity.
The man was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center on Tuesday in serious to critical condition. The police say he was stable as of Tuesday night.
