(KSL News) The outgoing city manager of West Jordan is going to get a huge check sometime before Monday.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports that Gary Luebbers will get about $360,000 for unused vacation days, sick leave and other benefits. His contract, which pays him half that per year in salary, calls for no cap in the accumulation of benefits.

A council member and the mayor want to make sure the next city manager has a cap to avoid a large city payout.
