Trunk-or-treaters get a little something unexpected in the candy bag
October 31st, 2008 @ 5:56pm
By Sheryl Worsley

Several parents are livid after a pornographic Web site was advertised at a company-sponsored trunk-or-treat.

It happened at a Halloween party sponsored by JetBlue. An employee, who wishes to remain anonymous, says she was going through her kids' candy after the event and found ads for an adult toy party tying the candy bags shut. She's furious. She said, "Do not solicit this to my kids. They should be protected, and they have the right to be protected. There's laws to protect them, and you don't get to do this to them."

She says it kind of defeats the purpose of having a safe environment behind trunk-or-treat.

A JetBlue supervisor confirms the event last Saturday was attended by 500 to 1,000 children.

JetBlue says the employee who handed out the ads was fired today.
