Woman with Utah roots hurt in plane crash

(KSL News) A woman originally from Provo was one of three people involved in a fiery plane crash this weekend.

The plane crashed Saturday shortly after taking off from the airport in St. Johns, Ariz. The engine stalled and the plane crashed into this woodpile in a residential neighborhood.

Pilot Doug Kinneard was killed and passengers Christian and Stephanie Nielson of Mesa, Ariz., were critically burned and airlifted to a Burn Center in Phoenix.

Stephanie Nielson's father, Stephen Clark is a Utah State lawmaker and her mother, Cynthia Clark, is a Provo City councilwoman.
