A driver arrested on suspicion of DUI after his bus full of children crashed into a pole is no stranger to the court system.
There's nothing like driving under the influence on Jon Hoffman's record, but he's been cited for shoplifting and public intoxication. The catch is, those charges were more than 10 years ago.
The chief operating officer (COO) for Serv-A-Bus tells KSL all potential drivers' records are checked, but the check doesn't pull up offenses from that far back.
In 2005, Hoffman was cited after an accident for failing to yield. He also had to pay a nearly $400 fine for disorderly conduct.
