SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The University of Utah's Earthquake Center says a four-point-three magnitude earthquake shook southeastern Idaho this morning.

The light quake occurred at 10:55 am.

Walter Arabasz, director of the university's seismograph stations, says the epicenter was 11 miles west-southwest of Georgetown, Idaho and was felt in Thatcher, Montpelier, Paris and Preston.

The tremblor occurred in a seismically active area.

Since 1962, 30 quakes of magnitude three-point-oh or larger have occurred within 15 miles of today's quake. .
