(KSL News) Members of Congress are debating a major expansion of the GI bill, medical and educational benefits for veterans.

With wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, more returning soldiers need and qualify for those benefits, but are soldiers able to access the help available now? That's a question raised by a Utah veteran Sgt. Samuel Gilligan and his attorney, Michele Morin.

Gilligan, Morin and Executive Director of the Utah Department of Veterans Affairs Terry Schow joined us tonight our Talking Point segment.
