Tom Callan reportingFueling up some cars is well under $1 per gallon, and the trend is catching on.
At Ken Garff Honda this afternoon, there were two customers closing deals on natural gas cars. It costs a mere 63 cents per gallon to fill up these types of cars.
"Six years ago we sold one car. Today ... last year I sold 105. This year we'll probably double that," said salesman Ron Brown.
Brown admits there are drawbacks. He says this is not a car to drive cross-country because there are few spots to fill up with natural gas.
Brown says you aren't going to make it to Reno or Denver in one of these cars.
