CENTERVILLE — A woman wearing a fake handlebar mustache robbed a Zions Bank Tuesday, police said.

Around 2:43 p.m., the woman handed a note to a teller at the Zions Bank at 440 West Parrish Lane demanding all of the cash in the till, according to the Centerville Police Department. The woman was given an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

A customer who was in the drive-thru at the time of the robbery told investigators he or she saw the woman carrying a black handgun, but the gun was not seen within the bank. Police said the woman was last seen walking west through the parking lot.

Investigators described the woman as being between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall. They said she was about 140 pounds and was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with the words “Metal Mulisha” printed on the back.

“According to bank employees, the suspect was a female who was dressed as a male wearing a fake mustache,” a statement from the police department reads.

She was also wearing dark sunglasses, a baseball hat and white gloves, police said.

Anyone with information about the identity or location of the woman can contact the Centerville Police Department at 801-292-8441.
