KAYSVILLE — A Woods Cross man was killed when he crashed into an overpass driving on I-15 Monday.

Byron Munsee, 79, was driving south about 1:15 p.m. when his car drifted to the right, out of the right lane and crashed into a support pillar of the Shepard Lane overpass, the Utah Highway Patrol reported.

Investigators believe a medical condition may have contributed to the crash. Munsee was taken by ambulance to a helipad at the Davis County Sheriff's Office where he was pronounced dead while awaiting a medical helicopter.

Munsee was alone in the vehicle.
