Man suspected of robbing Ogden bank arrested in St. George

OGDEN — Police arrested a man they believe robbed a bank in Ogden Tuesday.

Officers arrested Christopher Peek around 2 a.m. Wednesday while he was boarding a bus in St. George bound for Las Vegas, police said.

A man entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 2389 Washington Blvd. in Ogden around 3:50 p.m., passed a teller a note demanding money. No weapon was seen or mentioned in the note. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police released surveillance pictures and described the robber as a white man, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 165 pounds and about 30 years old.
