SALT LAKE CITY — A juvenile male is in critical condition after veering off a road and crashing into a home Tuesday, police said.

The car came to stop in the home's living room, but no one other than the driver was injured, according to Salt Lake police detective Veronica Montoya. She said there were three people in the home, which is located near 500 N. Redwood Road, when the accident occurred at about 7 p.m.

The driver was transported to the hospital in critical condition, police said.

The cause of the accident is currently under investigation, Montoya said. There were no witnesses to the accident, according to investigators.
