SALT LAKE CITY — Newly unsealed warrants outline emails that are reportedly from John Swallow and Mark Shurtleff, or their staffers, refer to delegates as animals at feedings, and one called new Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes a liar and a dirty-tricks politician during the primary.

Reyes said he's disappointed to hear what was reportedly said about him during last year's campaign against John Swallow.

"I know things get personal, or people feel like they get personal, but this goes beyond that," Reyes said. "It doesn't reflect well on our state. It doesn't reflect well on the political process."

Reyes said he tried to run a campaign that was above board and that's what he's bringing to the attorney general's office.

"The fact that they are disparaging not only me, but delegates — we just never would do that in our campaign," Reyes said.
