SALT LAKE CITY — A vehicle traveling in the wrong direction caused a head-on collision on I-80 Tuesday.
The accident happened just after 4 p.m. near 1300 West. Two lanes of the freeway were closed while emergency personnel responded to the location.
One female was injured but is expected to recover, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
Investigators did not have an answer Tuesday night as to why the car was traveling the wrong way.
