SANDY — After nearly four months of searching, police believe they have found an alleged peeping Tom.

Jordan Bryce Draper, 25, was charged this week in 3rd District Court with attempted voyeurism, a class A misdemeanor.

On June 27, a 13-year-old girl was in a dressing room at Forever 21 at the South Towne Center mall, 10450 S. State, when her mother noticed a cellphone camera being held under the dressing room divider by someone in the adjacent room, according to court documents.

The mother "saw the person place the iPhone under the divider two different times," the charges state.

The mother attempted to confront the man with the phone, but he "pushed his way" past her and continued to walk to the exit, according to court documents. He walked through J.C. Penney and into the parking lot, where the mother lost sight of him, according to court documents.

After police released surveillance video from the incident, investigators received numerous calls of possible suspects, said Sandy Police Sgt. Jon Arnold. Detectives went through the list and eventually came across Draper.

The mother identified him in a photo lineup, according to court records. A detective also found a picture of Draper on his Facebook page holding a black iPhone.

Draper was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on Wednesday and released after posting bail.
