LEWISTON, Cache County — An man was killed Monday when the car he was driving rear-ended a truck on U.S. 91 near the Utah-Idaho border.

The crash occurred near Lewiston at 5:49 p.m when a northbound truck slowed to stop in the left lane to make a left turn into a pasture and was rear-ended by a car, Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said.

There were no passengers in either vehicle, and the truck driver was uninjured.

The name of the man killed in the crash was not available Monday night.
