SALT LAKE CITY — Police are looking for a man who they said robbed a bank with a note Saturday.

The man gave a note to a teller at the Chase Bank at 6275 S. Highland Drive indicating that he wanted money and threatened that he had a firearm, Lt. Justin Hoyal of the Unified Police Department said.

"After the suspect got an undisclosed amount of money, he fled from the bank and was seen driving a maroon Honda Accord," Hoyal said.

No one in the bank was injured, police said. They said the robbery happened just after 1:30 p.m.

Police said the man is considered to be armed and dangerous. Investigators described the suspect as a Caucasian male in his 30's, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and of a thin build. They said he was wearing a polo type shirt and plaid shorts, with sunglasses on his head. He had a shaved head and goatee.

Those with information may contact the Unified Police Department.
