(KSL News) Residents in Salt Lake City could see a total eclipse of the moon tomorrow night if the weather cooperates.
According to members of the Salt Lake Astronomical Society, the totality of the eclipse will last about an hour and start just after 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
A lunar eclipse happens when the moon slips into the shadow of the earth. It still remains visible, though, due to sunlight reflecting off Earth's clouds and oceans.
