MURRAY — Police are searching for the person who stabbed a man during a fight Wednesday morning.
Murray police said it happened at a home near 6600 South and 700 West around 4:30 a.m.
Investigators said two people were arguing inside the garage of the home then started fighting. A man stepped in to break up the fight and was stabbed in the arm.
The person who stabbed him then fled. The victim was driven to a hospital and police were called.
"We're meeting with the victim, trying to get a full story from him, photographing the scene and trying to collect any evidence we can find," said Sgt. Brian Wright of the Murray Police Department.
Police described the man they are looking for as 6 feet tall with a medium build, a shaved head and tattoo sleeves.
Wright said the victim is expected to recover.
