OGDEN — A 26-year-old man who was shot to death Saturday has been identified by police.

Robert Santos Soto, Jr. was shot multiple times and found dead by police on the sidewalk outside his home at about 1:18 a.m. on Saturday morning.

The shooting took place on the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue, said Ogden police Lt. Danielle Croyle.

"Witness reported people arguing outside and multiple shots were fired," she said. "We believe it's possibly some known associates that are aware of each other."

It is believed that the killing may be gang-related. Ogden's major crimes and gang units are investigating the shooting as a homicide.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 801-629-8221.
