MILLCREEK — Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a stabbing at a Millcreek coffee shop.

Unified Police Department detectives following up on a tip located Husam Suhail, 27, at a motel located at 176 W. 600 South Tuesday night.

Suhail was arrested without incident and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of attempted homicide.

Police said three men entered the Bablion Coffee House, 834 E. 3300 South, Monday night and got into an argument with a teenage girl and another man. The argument turned into a physical fight and a man who knew some of those involved tried to break it up. He was stabbed and taken to a hospital in critical condition.

The suspects drove away from the scene, but a short time later police arrested the first suspect, Ehsan Suhail, 20, for obstruction of justice. Investigators believed he disposed of the knife used in the stabbing, which was later recovered.
