Dentists pitch in to 'Give Kids a Smile'
February 9th, 2008 @ 5:06pm

(KSL News) About 60 dentists worked hard today to "Give Kids a Smile."

In three locations across the Salt Lake Valley, volunteer dentists gave away more than $45,000 worth of free dental work. It went to underprivileged kids who don't have any access to a dentist.

Dr. Kevin Yeager is chairman of Salt Lake's "Give Kids a Smile." He said, "A lot of the time these kids are in third or fourth grade, and it's the first exposure they've had with a dentist."

Dentists screened, treated, and provided dental education to more than 300 children.
