SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake Police are searching for a robber who held up two stores at gunpoint. Police said he wore a surgical mask during both crimes.
The man walked into a Walgreen's near 909 East and 2100 South at 10:17 p.m. Wednesday, brandished a weapon, stole money and fled on foot, according to Det. Veronica Montoya of the Salt Lake City Police Department.
Seven minutes later, an Arctic Circle at 525 E. 1700 South was similarly robbed. Montoya said the two incidents may be related.
In both instances what made it stand out is he had a surgical mask on.
