DRAPER — Saturday, 700 string instruments played in unison at Juan Diego High School.

Violin, viola, cello and bass students from all across the United States were joined by students from Singapore and Argentina to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Intermountain Suzuki String Institute.

The performance was the culmination of a 10-day Suzuki music camp in Utah for teachers and students. They performed a piece composed by violinist Michael McClean for the event.
