Lehi murder victim laid to rest
January 12th, 2008 @ 9:58pm

(KSL News) A 30-year-old Lehi mother of two was buried today after being shot and killed outside a church last weekend.

Family and friends remembered Kristy Ragsdale as an amazing mother and daughter. They also said she was someone who would do anything for others.

Today her family told us they are focused on helping Kristy's two young children.

Howard Larson, Kristy's uncle, said, "It's just important that we do that and go on with our lives and try to take care of the family and the little ones left behind. Those poor little kids are just left without anybody now except their grandparents, and that's going to be hard for them."

Kristy was going to church Sunday when police say her husband, David, shot and killed her. The two were going through a divorce at the time.

David Ragsdale is currently in jail on aggravated murder charges. The couple's two children are under the care of Kristy Ragsdale's parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking people to make donations to help support the Ragsdale's children. An account has been set up in the names of Brandon and Carter Ragsdale at any Wells Fargo bank.
