Police seek man caught on video surveillance robbing Conoco store

TAYLORSVILLE — Police are still searching for a man caught on video surveillance that robbed a Conoco convenience store on Wednesday.

A man entered the Conoco located at 4842 S. Redwood Road at 1:40 a.m. and threatened the cashier with a folding knife. The burglar took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store.

Video surveillance showed the thief wearing a red shirt, grey jacket and light blue hat. He is described to be a dark skinned, Hispanic male in his 40s about 5'7 and 220 pounds.

The man was seen leaving the scene of the robbery in a dark colored Dodge Dakota pickup truck with a silver tool box near the front of the bed of the truck.

Individuals are asked to contact Detective Andy Arnn at 801-743-7000 with information about the robbery suspect.
