Cleon Wall reporting
If you want to be part of the Utah primary next month, then time is running out. Mail-in voter registration is due today if you've moved or changed your name.
"The form needs to be postmarked by [today]; and if you miss that deadline, you can still register, but you'd have to appear in person in my office," explained Sherrie Swensen, Salt Lake County Clerk. She says if you don't live in Salt Lake County, you need to go to your local county clerk's office.
You can also change your party affiliation. That's important because if you are a member of one party you can only vote in that party's primary. If you are registered as independent, you'll only be able to vote in either the Democrat or the Republican primary, not both.
